RoadBotics joined both The Pittsburgh Tech Council and Smart Business Magazine for annual Award Celebrations in November. Here’s a brief recap:
Pittsburgh Tech Council’s Tech 50 Awards are a yearly celebration of the most successful and innovative companies in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and this year they celebrated their 25th anniversary. RoadBotics was nominated in the Innovator of the Year: AI/ML/Robotics category along with Gecko Robotics, Idelic, Locomation, Motional, and the cateogory winner, Aurora.
Kudos to the nominees in the other categories, including the winners:

- Innovator of the Year: Manufacturing – The Kurt J. Lesker III Award for Excellence – MSA Safety
- CEO of the Year: Pittsburgh Technical College – Alicia B. Harvey-Smith, president and CEO
- Innovator of the Year: AI/ML/Robotics – Aurora
- Innovator of the Year: Consumer – Tech Elevator
- Innovator of the Year: Medtech/Health IT -TeleTracking Technologies, Inc.
- Innovator of the Year: Start-up Company – Seiso LLC
- Innovator of the Year: Nonprofit/Education/Community – Pittsburgh Technical College
- Innovator of the Year: Solutions Provider – Innovative Tech Optimus Technologies
- Innovator of the Year: Solutions Provider – Services – Rivers Agile
Smart Business Magazine’s Smart 50 Awards are held yearly to recognize the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the Greater Pittsburgh region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations. This year paid special attention to business that overcame challenges related to COVID-19.
