Shifting gears from a start up to being a part of a company with over 130 years of experience has been an exciting endeavor for our team.
We’ve had the opportunity to participate in events across the country, sharing the benefits of automated assessments (now Better Roads) and introducing the advanced safety insights of Safer Roads.
As the 2024 event season officially ramps up, we’re eager to see familiar faces and meet new ones. As Michelin Mobility Intelligence, we’ll be traveling far and wide to advocate for the importance of using objective data to plan initiatives and track progress.

APWA Florida Chapter's Annual Conference
Bringing in over 400 public works professionals in the state, APWA Florida is a yearly event jam-packed with interactive sessions and experiences.
Last year, our Michelin Better Roads Business Development Manager Glen and VP of Sales and Marketing Dan made their way to Orlando to learn what road-related challenges communities in Florida were facing. They even had the chance to catch a keynote speaking session with former pro-wrestler Marc Mero.
This year’s event is being held in Daytona, and Glen will be returning with Michelin Better Roads Business Development Manager John to catch up with clients and challenge new colleagues in the cornhole competition.

Lifesavers
We’re proud to announce Michelin Safer Roads participation in the 2024 Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety, taking place in Denver, Colorado! Last year’s event was no exception, fostering valuable connections and sparking innovative ideas that continue to propel our work. This premier conference brings together professional from across the country – federal, state, and local government, law enforcement, public health, and more – to share ideas, strategies, and programs aimed at reducing preventable traffic injuries and fatalities.
This year, we’re not just attending the Lifesavers Conference – Michelin Safer Roads is also a champion sponsor and an exhibitor!

Pennsylvania State Association of Townships Supervisors (PSATS)
With over 4,000 township supervisors in attendance, PSATS is an epic event all around!
Every April, Pennsylvania government and engineering professionals travel to Hershey for three days of innovative product displays, continuing education sessions, and sweet, sweet chocolate!
Similar to last year, our Michelin Better Roads Operational Marketing Manager Sam and Business Development Manager Emily will be ready to show you how our automated road assessments work. They’ll be joined by Enterprise Partner Manager Annie Tamburro.

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) America Annual Conference
Michelin Safer Roads is thrilled to also attend ITS America Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, at the end of April. This renowned conference brings together the entire Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) community, focusing on the latest advancements and solutions that are shaping the future of transportation.
We were inspired by the event last year, and what we learned continues to influence product development at Michelin Mobility Intelligence.
As an organization dedicated to road safety and data driven insights, the ITS America conference provides us a valuable platform to connect with industry leaders, explore new solutions, and stay informed on industry trends.
We will also be participating in a panel session called “Improving Road Safety for Vulnerable Road Users” on April 25th at 8AM. Find our Safer Roads team, including President & COO Erik, Chief of Strategy Seth, and Director of Government Affairs Emily at Booth 645!
