RoadBotics by Michelin attended three different events last month! Did we get to connect with you?
Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference
On October 25 and 26, professionals across engineering, government, and academia gathered in Columbus, Ohio, to learn about improving traffic safety and efficiency for their communities. The event is known for providing opportunities to discuss new technologies and trends in maintenance, operation, local government, and more!
Ryan Gayman represented the RoadBotics by Michelin team and offered attendees a new perspective on performing road assessments. He demonstrated how automated road assessments provide a more objective and streamlined method for understanding a network’s condition.
AASHTO's Annual Meeting
Glen Hutchinson from the RoadBotics by Michelin team attended the event and tuned in for USDOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s keynote, which pointed to the need for additional collaboration across local, tribal, state, and federal governments.
Allegheny Conference Member meeting
RoadBotics by Michelin honored its local roots by participating in this year’s Allegheny Conference Member meeting hosted by The Pittsburgh Regional Alliance.
We were happy to share how our company is making a positive impact on the region and eager to learn about the growth of the robotics industry in Pittsburgh.

Does your community take a “repair the worst roads first” strategy, or still perform assessments manually? RoadBotics by Michelin can introduce you to RoadWay, an automated road assessment platform that lets communities capture road condition data with a smartphone. Once data is collected, our proprietary AI algorithm generates objective road ratings on an interactive, color-coded map – complete with time and location data for each 10-foot section of road.
